An inspiring biography of Loo-Chi Hu, affectionately known as Huloo, who received worldwide recognition as one of a crew of six in 1955 who sailed the "Free China" junk across the Pacific Ocean from Taiwan to San Francisco. Also, in 1970, he was called upon to rescue Thor Heyerdahl and his reed vessel the "Ra II."
